Strategic Partnership Manager at Port of Rotterdam’s blockchain start-up Naviporta

We are on the hunt for:
Are you the one to champion the launch of a global consortium securing neutrality and independence and aimed to impact global trade and supply chain financing worldwide? Are you experienced in taking the lead, building partnerships and deal-making in an international, high complexity and multi-facetted environment? If the answer is yes and you’re looking to disrupt global trade and logistics whilst positively impacting sustainability; we want you! You will be responsible for driving all aspects of the consortium; from identification, to (financial) assessment, to the launch. And from balancing the interest of multiple stakeholders, to setting the governance. And eventually to closing the deal and launching the consortium.

You will be responsible for selling (from lead generation to creating the Naviporta community) the first launching services on the Naviporta platform to prospects, especially to shippers and logistic service providers. You will also validate our pipeline of potential service providers for the platform and interest them in offering their services via Naviporta. Potential service providers come from the fields of supply chain optimisation, chain transparency and fintech. You are successful if you close deals with new clients and service providers and link them to the Naviporta platform, so that they create even more value.
End-to-end ownership from identifying partners to launching the global consortium
Work closely with Innovation, Legal, Finance and Director of Naviporta to define strategy, investment memorandum, roadmap and execute the aforementioned
Drive and thrive in managing all stakeholders interest and the core values of Naviporta
Keep up-to-date records of activities, opportunities, and accounts in CRM
Built, grow and manage the partner network and take the lead in developing new opportunities and markets
Validate needs and requirements, align on strategic fit and manage partnerships
Identify, attract, qualify and onboard (potential) partners globally
What we ask of you:
A completed higher professional/research-oriented higher education
At least six years’ experience in building international partnership in complex environment
A proven expert in strategic business & relationship management on C-level, building bridges internationally and getting complex things done
Result-driven, cooperative, enterprising and proactive
Experience and/or a network in supply chain, ports, global trade (finance) is a bonus
Committed to remain with Naviporta when it becomes a spin-out
Being resourceful and having a problem-solving mindset
Willingness to travel abroad, once Covid regulations allow to

Your initial gross salary will be depending on education and experience.
36-hour working week;
A temporary employment with a view to a permanent contract as soon as Naviporta is a successful spin-out company;
Excellent pension scheme with the ABP (average earnings system in which about 70% of the contributions are paid by us);
Reimbursement of travel expenses;
Work from home allowance;
Thirteenth month and holiday allowance, accrued via a personal choice budget of 19.6%.
